Consultation

How to make a consult?

In a “free text” search system which uses, it is possible to locate information introducing any word or set of words which have been previously included in the database.

In spite that the search can be made using any word, as the historical documentation was classified by subjects, we recommend you that for making a more effective search you use the terms which appear on the table of the industrial department.

If your search is based on the acronym of the companies which belonged to INI it is advisable, for not having to use too many references, to use the logical operators explained in the search aid and to combine the company with one of the subjects into which they were classified.

The result of the search will appear on the screen by chronological order, from oldest to newest. Each record will have attached a PDF document with the index which indicates the documents which make up each roll.

In the photographic collection use can be made as a search criterion the name of the INI companies, a chronological criterion, or the descriptors, as well as any word of the description of each image.

In case you have any doubt, you can get into contact with the Historical Archive through queries and suggestions web form or through the Archive's email

The following PDF documents on the consultation are available.
