Appointment of Francisco Javier Salas and Martín Gallego as new Directors of Red Eléctrica

Francisco Javier Salas Collantes and Martín Gallego Málaga have been appointed by Red Electrica´s Board of Directors to replace Elías Velasco García and José Ignacio Sánchez Galán. The appointment, of Francisco Javier Salas to the Auditors Committee for a three-year term has been resolved also by the Board.
Javier Salas holds a Degree in Economics and was President of INI (National Institute for Industry), since 1990, and later of Téneo, from inception up to 1996.
Martín Gallego holds a Doctor´s Degree in Mining Engineering and is a graduate in Economics. Mr. Gallego has been too Secretary General of Energy and Mineral Resources in the Ministry of Industry and General Director for Corporate International Operations and Diversification of the Endesa Group.
