CORREOS EXPRESS is the first express transport operator to provide a solution for high-value shipments or for those which demand a higher security level, thanks to the implementation of the radiofrequency control and identification system (RFID) on the labels of the customers’ packages.

With this innovative solution, Correos Express provides each package with a unique identification through radiofrequency waves, which exponentially improves security in e-commerce, especially in the case of high-value shipments.

Furthermore, the RFID technology allows obtaining information about the shipments’ location and status. In the case that these do not follow the stipulated route, the software developed by Correos Express triggers a warning. This makes possible offering a safer service to customers, as the shipments are quickly identified and located.

With this project, the affiliated company for express packaging of Grupo Correos, Correos Express, progresses in its strategy of providing added value to its customers through technological innovation.
