NAVANTIA announces the opening of a new commercial delegation in Norway

  • This delegation entails the reinforcement of the Company’s international expansion policy

NAVANTIA  expands its international presence with the announcement of the opening of a new commercial delegation in Bergen, Norway, which will start operating from tomorrow, July 20th.

The opening of this new delegation is the result of the goal of strengthening the Company’s presence in that country and of promoting the commercial relationships with a strategic customer, with which there is currently a maintenance contract for the five Nansen-class frigates which were designed and built by NAVANTIA from 2000 to 2011.

The delegation will be located in Bergen, near the naval base at which the frigates are based, which will allow to be closer to those in charge of the maintenance area in the Norwegian Navy with regard to the activities for the vessels’ life support cycle, which will benefit the quality of the service; this will also reinforce the relationships with the local industry. Furthermore, the delegation will be in charge of developing NAVANTIA’s business in the region and its commercial activity in future projects.
