SEPI is authorized to amend RTVE's By-Laws

The Council of Ministers authorizes the state-owned industrial holding company Sociedad Estatal de Participaciones Industriales (SEPI) to amend, in the next General Assembly of the Corporación de Radio y Televisión Española, S.A. (CRTVE) a number of provisions of its By-Laws in order to adapt them to the legal norms.
The Corporación's Board of Directors agreed to propose to SEPI, which is the holder, directly and indirectly, of all the shares which represent its social capital, the modification of the provisions regarding the financing and regulation of the reserve fund, with the purpose of including that stipulated in the Corporación Financing Act of August 29th, 2009, as well as the changes which have taken place in the accounting rules.
SEPI's Board of Directors, in the meeting held on September 25th, 2009, agreed to request the pertinent authorization to the Council of Ministers, in compliance with that envisaged in the State-Owned Radio and Television Act, of 2006.
