SEPI´s Board of Directors agrees to take part in Acciona´s and Enel´s IPO on ENDESA

The Board of Directors of the state-owned holding company Sociedad Estatal de Participaciones Industriales (SEPI) has agreed, in the meeting which it held today, to take part in the IPO submitted by Acciona and Enel on ENDESA and whose acceptance period concludes on October 1st, 2007.
SEPI´s participation in ENDESA is made up by 31.2 Million shares, which represent 2.95% of the total, and which is the result of the Green-Shoe of the IPO carried out on June 1998 and which the global coordinating entities chose not to exercise. The deal shall report to SEPI 1,235 Million Euros, with a capital gain of 1,161 Million Euros.
