HIPODROMO DE LA ZARZUELA and the AEPCC sign a collaboration agreement

  • As a result of this agreement, both parties will actively collaborate in promoting the horse racing industry in Spain

The Chairwoman of HIPODROMO DE LA ZARZUELA, Ms. Faina Zurita, and the President of the Spanish Association of Race Horse Owners (AEPCC), Mr. Reza Pazooki, signed today, at AEPCC’s main offices, a collaboration agreement for jointly promoting the development of horse racing in our country.

This agreement will serve for uniting and coordinating the efforts from both organizations in horse racing promotion and for achieving sponsors, as well for developing horse breeding in Spain, for which it is envisaged to work with the Thoroughbreds Spanish Breeders Association (ACPSIE) for the setup of working group for the industry which will be ready in a couple of weeks.

Furthermore, HIPÓDROMO DE LA ZARZUELA has undertaken to grant some areas in its facilities to the AEPCC, which will turn its main office in an owners club and will be able to set up an information stand during the race meetings; also a number of further actions have been envisaged in connection with the celebration of the Annual Poule Dinner for the Madrid Great Prize.

Within the framework of the above agreement, the parties contemplate the signing of specific agreements which contribute to improving this collaboration, such as eventual future discounts in the horse stabling fees at HZ for the AEPCC’s associates, subject to the Center’s minimum occupation figures and with the key goal of increasing our horse livestock.
