ENSA ships the last DPT-design container manufactured for the Trillo nuclear power plant
09 August 2016 |
Equipos Nucleares, S.A (ENSA) shipped yesterday the last container of the DPT series which the company from Cantabria has manufactured for the storage and transport of spent fuel for the nuclear power plant of Trillo in Guadalajara.
With this shipment concludes a period which began in 2001 with the shipment of the first DPT model container. The DPT is the first container wholly designed by ENSA and this which now is delivered represents the number 32 of the series, of which 30 have already been loaded.
Currently, ENSA is manufacturing dual-purpose containers - for fuel storage and transport – for the domestic market (ENUN32P) and for the export market (ENUN24P) of the new ENUN series, which replaces the DPT. These have been designed by the company from Cantabria at its facilities in Maliaño.

Equally, SEPI has direct minority shareholdings in a further ten companies, and indirect shareholdings in more than one hundred companies.
