ENSA launches to the market a new version of its ENUN32P cask

Equipos Nucleares, S.A (ENSA) has been awarded the approval from the Department of Energy for its ENUN32P cask, which is destined for the transport of fuel items with burning degree of up to 45,000 MWD/MTU.
The design of this dual-purpose cask makes possible to store, for storage and transport, up to 32 spent fuel items of the PWR-type (Pressure Water Reactors), as well as core-related components.
This cask expands ENSA portfolio in this line of fuel management and its capabilities for taking care of the market requirements.
ENSA belongs to Grupo SEPI, a corporate holding which includes a total of 15 state-owned companies in which it has direct, majority shareholding participations, with a workforce of more than 73,000 professionals in 2015; the Spanish state-owned television and radio corporation, Corporación Radiotelevisión Española, which is attached to SEPI, and one public foundation. Equally, SEPI has direct minority shareholdings in a further nine companies, and indirect shareholdings in more than one hundred companies.
