  • Two MPC-32 containers were also successfully loaded at the Ascó nuclear power station.

Equipos Nucleares, S.A. (ENSA) completed the successful load of two DPT design containers for the storage and transport of spent fuel which have been manufactured for the Trillo nuclear power station in Guadalajara, Spain.

With the delivery in August of these two units, numbered 31 and 32, it completes the series which was begun in 2001 with the shipment of the first container of the DPT model; the first container to be totally designed by por ENSA.

The load took place along October and November, and with it the company from Cantabria puts its hopes on the new ENUN series for the universal container model.

It is worthwhile to highlight the optimization carried out by ENSA for putting on the market a new class of designs for its containers, mostly with the 32P, in order to reduce its manufacturing times and those of the required ancillary equipment.

Loads at Ascó

Equally, and on the same dates, also took place the satisfactory loading of two MPC-32 containers at the Ascó nuclear power station in Tarragona.
