SEPI Sociedad Estatal de Participaciones Industriales

Mr. Antonio Carcaño Gutiérrez has been appointed General Manager of CETARSA, the company belonging to the state-owned holding company Sociedad Estatal de Participaciones Industriales (SEPI). Mr. Carcaño Gutiérrez already was General Manager of this tobacco company between 1990 and 1996, and before that he was Deputy Manager, since 1988.

CETARSA´s new General Manager is a graduate in Economics, and comes from the dairy company Grupo Leche Pascual, in which he held different managerial positions since 1197. Before he joined CETARSA, during the previous period, he was a Manager in Exterior de España, between 1981 and 1988, a professor at the School of Economics in the Universidad Complutense of Madrid, and an Economist at Spain´s Instituto Nacional de Estadística (National Statistics Office).
