SEPI´s Board of Administration decides not to take part in the IPO submitted by E.ON on ENDESA

The Board of Administration of the state-owned industrial holding company Sociedad Estatal de Participaciones Industriales (SEPI) has agreed, in the meeting which took place today, that it will not take part in the IPO submitted by E.ON on ENDESA and whose period for acceptance ends on April 7th, 2007.
The participation which SEPI has in ENDESA amounts to 2.95% of its capital, and it comes from the Green-Shoe corresponding to the IPO carried out in June 1998 and which was not exercised by the Global Coordinating entities.
