CETARSA is engaged in purchasing, fermenting, threshing, processing and commercializing raw tobacco.
It is the only raw tobacco processing company in Spain. Its two factories and its facility for the purchase and storage of tobacco are located in the province of Cáceres.
The company purchases most of the Spanish tobacco harvest, and provides technical aid to farmers in order to improve the quality of the product, cut costs and promote environmentally aware farming.
Once the tobacco has been processed, CETARSA sells its products to the biggest cigar and cigarette manufacturers in the world, exporting them to more than 60 countries on 5 continents.
