NAVANTIA signs a significant contract for providing its services to the Australian Navy

NAVANTIA has signed today in Sidney a significant contract with the Australian Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CSAG) for supplying services to its Navy, which means an important step in the firm commitment which NAVANTIA maintains in that country.
This is a framework agreement, with defined fees, which will allow NAVANTIA Australia to provide engineering services, technical assistance, replacement supplies, etc. directly to the customer (CASG) within the environment of the LHDS ships and the LCMS landing crafts which have been designed and built by NAVANTIA for the most part for Australia.
This constitutes a very significant contract for NAVANTIA Australia’s interests, since it sets up a direct channel for the supply of services with the Australian Navy, which will allow to strengthen even more the relationships which they keep, and opens up new business opportunities to be carried out for the most part from Australia.
For NAVANTIA, this contract represents a new step in the direction of increasing its local capability and deepening as a trustworthy supplier in Australia. Equally, it means a recognition of the trust deposited on NAVANTIA Australia.
Currently, NAVANTIA is bidding for the future Sea 5000 program for nine frigates for Australia, a highly significant contract, and this step contributes to its enjoying a better position in Australia for opting for this opportunity.
